Firstly, thank you for your interest in my website.
Five things about me:

I love reading and France has been my ‘go to’ to read about for years. I’ve been an armchair traveller with none of the costs of an airfare but all the experiences!

I’ve been learning French for four years; I can speak it like a four-year-old...

My partner and I travelled to France for the first time in 2023 – Normandie, the Loire Valley and Paris.

We fell in love with Paris. The drug that is Paris is pulling us back.

I live in Auckland, New Zealand/Aotearoa. That’s about 28 hours flight time from Paris.
Join me as I review books (and some magazines) with France as the background theme whether they be about travel, lifestyles, experiences and yes, even novels that feature l’Hexagone.
Books About France is my interest spilling out into the world. Now I know how much more there is to see and read about.
